Established in 1987 in Johannesburg – South Africa, Lintec Engineering has long been providing wear solutions for bulk materials handling.
The founder, Eric Olsen, has been involved with wear-resistant materials such as ceramics, carbides and hard metals since 1969. He was responsible for the first alumina ceramic lined pipes in England, Australia and South Africa. It was with this knowledge that Lintec Engineering was formed.
During the course of 2017 Eric Olsen took the decision to retire from actively managing the company and to hand over the baton to long-time colleague and co-director Heinrich Crafford.
Although Eric is no longer actively involved in the day to day running of the company, he remains in the capacity of Technical / Engineering Consultant. As one of the pioneers of the wear lining industry in South Africa, Eric has a wealth of knowledge and experience that dates back more than 50 years.
Heinrich Crafford has been involved with Lintec for over 18 years. During his years at Lintec, Heinrich has seen the company grow from humble beginnings to becoming a major roll player in the wear linings industry both locally and globally.
Heinrich and his team are committed to the Vision, Mission, Values and success of Lintec Engineering, its current and future team, and its clients at all times.
